Experiential outdoor education is our passion
Everything started with the thought that a class outing and school camp could have so much more potential than just a consumer-like tourist city sightseeing trip. Today, 20 years later, this approach has developed into a deep commitment to experiential outdoor education as a contributing factor to a holistic education.
This is what experiential outdoor education can be: Experiential outdoor education picks up where schools must often stop due to time and staff constraints: at the self (personal) competence and social competence of pupils. We create situations that pose personal and social challenges for pupils, or that can only be mastered by cooperative behaviour. Games and trust exercises, climbing and belaying, construction projects, team and problem solving tasks, rallies, adventure games or a gala dinner planned and prepared together.
Who we are: in close cooperation with you, the teacher or tutor, we as a non-profit organisation at four sites in Germany will organise experiential outdoor education class and group outings, weekend trips and day activities. For school classes, associations, trainees, communities groups and clubs, youth care facilities… We are offering young people a comprehensive hands-on training in experiential education. Teachers and any interested parties may attend accredited training courses. Under the name erlebnistage.mobil we want to bring experiential outdoor education directly onto your premises at your school or facility. For us, experiential outdoor education is more than just a fashionable trend, it’s a philosophy of life.
