Tour onto the volcano
Vogelsberg Mountain is the largest extinct volcano in Europe. This landscape is dominated by the basalt rock – the solidified magma from the volcano – thick forest areas, but also wide and picturesque valleys. Our facility is located in the Vogelsberg nature reserve between Fulda and Frankfurt on a hill with view onto the quaint town of Herbstein.
The main house St. Vinzenz can accommodate 2 groups.
Our timber houses each have one lounge, two bedrooms and shower/toilet and are geared for one group. Additionally, there is a hut that serves as meeting hall for the whole group.
The camp site is geared for a group of up to 30 people and complemented by a fully furnished kitchen, sanitary hut and a large entertainment tent.
The seminar house "Pavillon" is ideally suited for smaller groups of up to 15 people (that can be accommodated in 2 and 3 bed rooms) and seminars, meetings, etc.
