Applying experiential education in school and youth work. Even without a climbing wall.
In view of the deep changes that the last few years brought within society, family and school, the question should be analysed what possible answers experiential outdoor education might hold for the various problems.
The various aspects of experiential outdoor education will be introduced in theory and practice. The event centres around holistic and experience-focused learning with the goal of improving the social competences. Selected contents of experiential education are tested, jointly reflected and transfer possibilities onto the vocational field in school are discussed. Additionally, specific ideas for school and class outings are provided.
