Training
Students. Teachers. Graduates of educational study and training courses. Young people looking at various career options.
We see ourselves as a practice-focused training facility for university and college students and graduates of educational study and training courses and young people in the process of looking at various career options. The trainings are designed in a modular and competence-focused form and finish with final certified examinations. What they all have in common is the focused enhancement of individual self-competence, social competence and subject-matter competence. Additionally, we are now also offering advanced trainings for teachers and youth work practitioners.
Internship and practical training. Our offers are a preparation for a vast array of different job fields and convey competences and qualifications enabling to successfully work in experiential education facilities or as an outdoor trainer. The internship includes a basic training course over several weeks, while the practical training provides the opportunity to complete the course with a widely recognised certificate.
Trainee. Since 1998 the trainee program is one of our advanced training modules geared for Erlebnistage employees, interns and other interested persons wanting to obtain a qualification as outdoor trainer in the field of adult education.
Safety Trainer and Ropes Course Trainer. Another advanced training module is offered by SKYROPE High Rope Course in Bad Harzburg that opened in 2004 and operates all year round. This module is designed as a partitioned training. A training of 11 weeks qualified by an examination to become a Safety Trainer, and a further 5 weeks of training with an examination to become a Ropes Course Trainer.
Advanced trainings, e.g. for teachers. In view of the deep-running changes that the last few years brought about within society, family and school, the question should be analysed what possible answers experiential outdoor education might hold for the various problems. In theory and practice, the various aspects of experiential outdoor education and their applicability within the school will be introduced, because there is more to experiential outdoor education than just climbing and abseiling.
Educo International Internship. Since 2004 we are offering interested candidates the opportunity to complete the so-called "International Internship" with our Educo partners in Bulgaria, Canada, the US and South Africa. These are usually designed for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks.
